How to Request Data Deletion

2. Email Address: The email address associated with your TruKeys account (the one you used to sign up)
3. Verification: To protect your privacy, please provide a brief description of your account or any recent activity (e.g., features you voted on, wishlist items you suggested) to help us verify your identity
4. Deletion Scope: Specify what data you want deleted:
   • Complete account deletion (all data)
   • Specific data categories (e.g., profile information, wishlist data, etc.)
5. Confirmation: Please confirm that you understand that data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone

Processing Time

We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and process your data deletion request within 30 days of receiving all required information. In some cases, we may need to verify your identity before processing the deletion, which may extend the processing time.

What Gets Deleted

When you request complete account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:

• Your profile information (name, email, gender, date of birth)
• Your account credentials
• Your wishlist data and feature suggestions
• Your voting history
• Your preferences and settings

Note: Some data may be retained for legal or regulatory purposes as required by law, such as transaction records or data necessary for dispute resolution.

Data Retention Exceptions

Please note that we may retain certain information even after account deletion if:

After Deletion

Once your data is deleted, you will receive a confirmation email. Your account will be permanently removed, and you will no longer be able to access any features or data associated with your account. If you wish to use TruKeys again in the future, you will need to create a new account.
